Overview
HMPNGS Tarangau Engineering Workshop project involved the design of a new workshop facility at the Naval base to replace the existing dilapidated Quonset structures installed in the 1940’s. The facility includes an engineering workshop to facilitate the Papua New Guinea engineering function, stores and office to support current and future Papua New Guinean Defence Force Patrol Boats, LCH (Landing Craft, Heavy) Vessels and provide minor support to visiting Royal Australian Navy ships.
