Overview
The Lombrum Wharf Upgrade project involved the refurbishment and connection of mains power to the HMPNGS Tarangau Wharf (Lombrum Base) providing the Australian Department of Defence with enhanced reliability and expanded capacity to accommodate up to six patrol boats. This Project aimed to deliver fit for purpose wharf electrical infrastructure upgrades to provide the PNG and Australian Defence Forces with Australian Standard infrastructure, thus improving operational collaboration and Naval capability between the two nations.
