Overview
The UON CT220 Relocation project involved managing the planning, delivery and post-delivery phases of the UON CT Building Computer Lab Consolidation.
The project required management of the refurbishment of CT220 and the relocation of furniture, AV equipment, computer equipment from as well as power and data system extension and modification.
The project also required the monitoring and coordination of costs accrued to the UON providing accurate forecasting and invoice information to minimise any potential budget overruns.
Challenges
Balancing against the ongoing operational requirements of the University and managing any unnecessary disruption to staff and students.
Outcomes
The project was completed on time and on budget. Users were satisfied with project outcome as zero operational downtime for the IT services department was achieved.
